Plaç awaits you at Palazzo Gromo Losa. The stories of the Piazzo, a brand new multimedia exhibition dedicated to the historic village of Biella. An immersive and interactive installation in close dialogue with Receptum. Where it all began, a “twin” project situated at the Ricetto di Candelo. The two installations, inaugurated in spring 2022, exploit high-impact technology to welcome the visitor, accompanying him by the hand and teasing the hunger for history and culture, as well as the desire to explore the territory which is inherent in each of us. Enjoy this experience for yourself!
The project stems from the new Ricetto enhancement plan promoted by the Municipality of Candelo, which included, among other initiatives, the multimedia set-up within the walls of the medieval village. The Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Biella, which supported the Candelese installation, therefore decided to use immersive storytelling technology to create a "gateway to the Piazzo" at Palazzo Gromo Losa. The project has been commissioned by the Foundation on the occasion of its first thirty years of activity and entrusted to Palazzo Gromo Losa srl, which was able to realize it also with the precious support of the Cassa di Risparmio di Asti Group.
Plaç. The stories of the Piazzo can be visited at the same time as the scheduled exhibitions and the opening hours of the garden.
The installation of Ricetto di Candelo is currently available as an integral part of the guided tours upon reservation and, once all the other steps of the project have been completed, it will be the very first stop of the tour of the medieval village.
